International Touring

AAO is working towards its fourth tour to India concentrating its activities in the South the home of our esteemed collaborators, Guru Kaaraikkudi Mani. V Suresh, B V Balasai and U P Raju. On the tour the AAO will premiere Sandy Evans’ new work for Into the Fire written with the assistance of an Australia Council composer commission.

Touring opportunities in Europe are also opening up for Crossing Roper Bar our work with the young Wagilak Group from Ngukurr, NT. This will the first time that the programme has been performed outside Australia and there is intense interest from European presenters.

In 2014 our Passion project, adaptations of J S Bach’s St Matthew Passion, composed by Grabowsky, Spence, Rodgers and Schauble from the AAO, will tour to Canada in partnership with a Canadian presenter. More news later.
