Reuben Lewis
Reuben Lewis is an award-winning trumpeter, composer, producer, improviser and electronic musician specialising in cross-genre, cross-cultural and multidisciplinary collaboration. With a sound that is both singular and eclectic, he is widely known for his strong artistic vision and ability to bring people together.
Reuben leads the ensemble I Hold the Lion’s Paw and was the Pathfinder Associate Artist for 2019/2020. Notable projects include Closed Beginnings in collaboration with poet Tariro Mavondo and Artistic Director Peter Knight, which was nominated for and ARIA Award (Best Jazz Album) and won the APRA AMCOS/AMC Art Music Award for electroacoustic/sound art work of the year in 2021.
Reuben is the AAO Digital Producer and manages AAO Recordings.
