When you attend a show at The SUBSTATION, there are a series of actions taken to shift your focus and ready you for the work you are about to see. Taking in the building on arrival, reading a guide in the foyer, and entering a gallery or event space - these rituals are designed to prepare you. LISTENING is inspired by this process and is designed to provide a moment of respite and contemplation wherever you may be.
